Sweaters and Vests galore!

Take a break from the holiday frenzy and enjoy these new sweater projects from JOJI and Lisa Ellis Designs. Start one tonight or put one in your cue, you'll feel less stressed and more relaxed just for browsing.

Every girl in your circle of family and friends will fall in love with one of JOJI's new cardigan designs, Girly and the Grown up Girl. Sized for girls 2-10 years old Girly is comfortable enough to wear to the park and cute enough to wear to a birthday party. With lots of sweet details its knit in one piece up to the armholes and then divided for front and back, with set in sleeves worked from the top down.

And enjoy knitting yourself a very girly cardigan, JOJI's romantic Grown up Girl. Grown up Girl is the adult version of Girly, with a lot of modifications that make it more flattering for a woman’s shape.

Carefully placed pockets with little flowers and leaves, take all the attention in the front. In the back, you can show off your knitting super-powers with a bigger floral motif and pleats. The cardigan includes directions to add ties, though you can leave it without them. Like Girly its knit from the top down in one piece up to the armholes then divided for front and back with set in sleeves. Sizes include 30 to 56.

JOJI has also introduced these two new hat designs. Dragonflies is a beautifully textured hat pattern written in three sizes, the Small makes a snug cap, the Medium a loose hat, and the Large a slouchy beret.

And things don’t always have to be complicated to be nice… right? Her new Button-tab Hat is the perfect example! The body of this hat is easy, fun and super fast to knit. The sudden decreases in the crown create the baggy look, and the button-tab and button add the little detail that makes the hat different and special Play with colors! This project requires very little yardage and it is perfect for using up small leftover.

Lisa Ellis understands the importance of layering for warmth, yet the need to look fantastic while doing it! Her new Thrummed Outer Vest is knit in one piece and can be worked up in a weekend, but its the details that give it it's flair! The collar is thrummed for a stylish finishing and frog fasteners or leather toggles complete the look! Numerous options are included (2 necklines, 2 lengths, 1 or 2 sided thrumming). Plus a You Tube instructional video link for the thrummed collar is included in the pattern. Easy enough for a first time sweater.

Plus she's designed a child's sized version, the Thrummed Child's Outer Vest, it's also 1 piece that can be knit in a weekend. A tad over-sized for room to grow and intended as an outer vest.
