I want to end 2011 with a BANG and give you a big "Thanks" for being a loyal Sandrasingh.com customer!

In the Fall/Winter 2009-10 season I began collaborating with many popular knitwear artists in our industry to bring you patterns that are exclusive to my website,
the Sandrasingh.com Exclusive Collection. The collection has grown from the original 2 designs, Gardiner Yarn Works' Tangled Vine Socks and Through The Loops Isabella to
include another sock design by Gardiner Yarn Works, Desmondus and Lisa Ellis Designs' Hooded Scarves and Cowls which is the first pattern to be written for my Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted.

This giveaway is for each pattern and the accompanying yarn, there will be four winners and they will be able to select the colorways from in stock inventory!

Hooded Scarves and Cowls: Bottom Up Scarf with Hood
in Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted

Lisa Ellis' Hooded Scarves and Cowls pattern includes four different, but complimentary styles, 2 hooded scarves and 2 cowls. The hooded scarf designs are simple to knit either from top down or bottom up and the cowls are either knit in the round or flat. Pick your style and skill level, nothing is too complicated but all are extremely satisfying knits. Pattern includes written instructions and charts.

Button Cowl in Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted

These four designs are worked in only 2-3 skeins of the worsted weight yarns, Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted and Malabrigo Merino Worsted.

Button Cowl in Malabrigo Merino Worsted

Next is the lovely Isabella hat, scarf and mittens set by the talented knitwear artist Kirsten Kapur of "Through The Loops," also knit in Malabrigo Merino Worsted and Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted would be an easy sub.

Isabella

Isabella features an easy to knit, yet sophisticated stitch design that suits a wide variety of personal tastes and styles. By changing the color scheme the set, or individual pieces, will look great with many different types of outwear and work for children, teens and adults.

Its knit in a simple pattern with a stunning result. The color work at the borders of each piece is deceptively simple, there is no carrying two colors in the same row. The stitch pattern is created by slipping stitches and then knitting the carries together a few rows later, even the more complex looking body of each piece is worked this way. There is no cabling involved, the intricate looking pattern work is really just slipped stitches!

Isabella is available for purchase as a set and separately.

Both of these sock designs are by the incomparable sock designer Chrissy Gardiner of "Gardiner Yarn Works."

Tangled Vine Socks

The delightfully cabled, Tangled Vine Socks are knit with one skein of Malabrigo's Sock. The beautiful and unique leafy cable design will keep your knitting interesting for a long time!

The pattern allows you to choose the direction you prefer to knit, top down or toe up. Then choose a foot to start with, the socks are a mirror image with right and left feet. An illustrated tutorial is included for Judy's Magic Cast-On and the cable pattern is both charted and written.

Finally have fun knitting yourself a unique pair!

Sizes: Women's S (M, L)
Foot Circumference: 6.5 (7.5, 8.5)"
Yarn: 1 skein Malabrigo Sock (100% superwash merino, 440 yards, 100 grams), modeled in Lettuce

Gauge: 36 sts/48 rnds = 4" in st st
Notions: cable needles, yarn needle and stitch marker
Skill Level: Intermediate

Desmondus

Named after the little grey vampire bat, Chrissy's Desmondus Socks are knit in Serendipitous Ewe's Fate Fingering sock yarn in the vampire inspired colorway Silver Shadows, a color in a series dyed exclusively for my website. Use one skein for a pair of women's socks and two skeins for men's. An unique cable pattern and lace insert are featured on these cuff down "His-and-Hers" socks for the night owl in your life.

The cable and lace patterns are both charted and written plus Chrissy includes instructions for two techniques for turning the heel and for the Kitchener Stitch.

Sizes: Sized for Women's M (Men's M)
Foot Circumference: 8 (9.5)"
Yarn: 1 (2) skein Serendipitous Ewe Fate Fingering (100% superwash merino, 400 yds, 4oz/115 gm)

Difficultly: Intermediate

All four of these patterns are sold as PDFs that are emailed to you after purchase with no shipping fees.

I like the Hooded Scarves and Cowls: Bottom Up Scarf with Hood in the first picture with the 1 ply merino.
it seems to have both the hat and the scarf together so that it would be easy to not get lost.

1: If I won the hooded scarf I would make it for my mum - she lives in freezing temperatures from Sept well into March and would love to have something like that!
2. My favorite design is Isabella, I have had that in my favorites for a long long time! I just love the design and the color combos!
I have also done numbers 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 14, and 16. :)

I forgot to actually do #16!! I have purchased from sandrasingh.com twice now and I was absolutely thrilled with my purchases. Sandra doesn't disappoint! Plus, madeline tosh pashmina and malabriog rios? SWOON! I wish the budget would allow more frequent purchases, Sandra would be sick of me! :P

1. Tell us why you should win one of these Sandrasingh.com Exclusive patterns.

Easy: my yarn stash was infiltrated by carpet beetles and I have been using boring non-animal fibers ever since. We've had exterminators out several times now and the carpet beetles haven't showed their dumb little faces; now I am ready for some more FUN yarn.
