The Perfect Pair: a Hand Knit Necklace and Bracelet

I love to mix & match my knits, who ever said, "Don't wear more than one hand knit at a time!" was just plain silly!  Of course in the Fall and Winter this is a breeze to do with loads of options.  But Spring and Summer hold lots of promise too!  And right now I know most of us are suffering through scorching heat, don't despair, a lovely hand knit necklace paired with a beaded bracelet is the perfect set!

Ambah O'Brien's Petarli is a lovely little knitted necklace featuring a leafy design within an intricate lace patternPerfect for any season, use a lightweight fingering or lace yarn for a delicate necklace, or use a heavier yarn for a chunky version. This quick knit is a great project to use up leftovers in your stash and makes a lovely gift too.

Add a little sparkle to your outfit and pair Petarli up with Nelkin Designs' Beaded Cuffs!  These cuffs are also a great way to use up your leftover lace weight yarns and make gorgeous jewelry at the same time!
The pattern includes two different designs, a wider lace diamond cuff and a beaded twist motif.  Worked over 17 and 12 sts respectively, this is not lace that will not hurt your brain!  You can, or course, skip the beads on this pattern and the cuffs will still be fabulous!
