Win a Seni Designs Pattern or Kit!

Thank you for entering!  We have our 3 Winners.

  1. Espiral & a 130 gram ball of Kauni Effektgarn 8/2 (winner’s choice of color) - Cait of the Ms C and Miss E blog
  2. Winner’s Pattern Choice - Joyce of the Tetsu Kaba blog
  3. Winner’s Pattern Choice - Cardi Lover of the Ci Caru Cardigans and Cardigans blog
Please email me at Sandrasingh@sandrasingh.com to claim your prize!

And please enjoy all of Ines Sousa's patterns at Seni Designs

In April of this year I had the pleasure of meeting knitwear designer Ines Sousa of Seni Designs.  I knew instantly my lace knitting clientele would love creating her airy and delicate crescent and triangular shaped shawls.  Sousa loves to play with color and though her detailed stitch patterns work beautifully in solids she is not afraid to show them off in variegated colorways too using some of your favorite lace and sock weight yarns from Madelinetosh and Malabrigo.

Her ebook Crescendo, which features 5 lace shawl patterns, was an immediate success and we have since released all 5 designs independently as well as 3 new lace shawls.

I was delighted when she agreed to be featured on my blog and do a Giveaway!  We'll have 3 lucky winners:

  1. Espiral & a 130 gram ball of Kauni Effektgarn 8/2 (winner's choice of color)
  2. Winner's Pattern Choice
  3. Winner's Pattern Choice

Meet Inês Sousa: Sousa is an independent designer, self-publisher, with a passion for elegant and seamless knits with appealing shapes and textures obtained due to the combination of different pattern stitches and techniques. Several eco-friendly e-books have been published so far, showing the diversity and experimental character of her work - from fairly simple to more intricate and challenging designs.

You can find out more of her work on Ravelry as Seni and at her blog seni-handmade.blogspot.pt

Enjoy Sousa's work!

Hello - thanks for the giveaway! I like all of Ines Sousa's designs - i will say that my favorite is Espiral because my dh likes it the best, therefore, that is the first Seni design I will be knitting :)

This is one contest I'd really like to win!
Crescent shawls are my favorite and this collection offers a wonderful variety of styles, from floral lace to simple stripes. I especially like Espiral because the garter stripes add texture to the contrasting stockinette.

I'm spreading the word by posting this contest on the Summerville Knitters group. I'll also post on Sandra's group page too.

I love Prana because yoga is part of my life and my husband's life. The design of the lace part reminds me of someone putting their hands in Anjali Mudra, the light in me sees the light in you.

I couldn't figure out how to friend you on FB, though. I am apparently following, but can't find the button to send you a FR and it won't let me post on your wall.

Thanks for doing this giveaway. Love the designs!

I LOVE the NENUFAR shawl with its leaves so gracefully twining within it. I happen to have a soft-spot for knitted leaves and crocheted pineapples, which is probably why my eye landed on this specific shawl. This is a design that I am certain that an elf would not only craft, but would also be seen wearing.

I am a long-time crocheter, designing most of my work as my various needs are why I crochet. I am also a long-time knitter of basic styles, but a 'newbie' when it comes to lace knitting. My first lace project is now on my needles, "Meads Scarf," and being almost done...it is looking like it is supposed to look. The Nenufar shawl 'looks like'...I could actually knit it up properly, and then wear it with pride.
