Thank you to everyone who entered this giveaway.

Drum Roll Please...our 3 Winners!
OtH Kit - Connie K aka greyowl on Rav
OtH Pattern - Nysssa of An Errant Reminiscence blog
OtH Pattern - Jordana aka The Little Cowl Company

Winners please email me at Sandrasingh@sandrasingh.com to claim your prizes!
Win an On the Hudson cowl Kit!
This is the first giveaway to kick off knitting in 2013 and I want it to be very special!  3 lucky knitters will win my On the Hudson cowl pattern and one of them will receive a kit!  The Kit includes 4 skeins of my Sandrasingh 1 Ply Merino Worsted in the colorways of their choice and the pattern!  Good luck everyone!
Stark granite bluffs, fiery foliage, the sound of swiftly rushing, alternating currents, all under a crystal blue sky; this is my view and my inspiration for the On the Hudson!  This cacophony of colors and textures spoke to me when I picked up my needles to begin this design.  I selected a beautiful mix of yarns, my Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted, Malabrigo Merino Worsted and Cascade 220 Superwash and 220 Wool and stitch patterns that are reversible, so you can relax and enjoy wearing this cowl however you please.

On the Hudson by Lucy
My talented test knitter Lucy knit the shorter version and as you can see her On the Hudson turned out beautifully!  She rocked it in my 1 Ply Merino Worsted in colorways Violet, Scout, Khaki and Sea Voyage.

I'm playing around with a doing the shorter version in a solid, and I'm loving the results.  This is my 1 Ply Merino Worsted in Big Sky.

Goodluck and here's how you enter!

The 3 winners will be announced on Jan. 31st.  The patterns will be emailed to the winners as a PDFs.

Beautiful! IT's hard to tell colors on the screen, but since midnight blue looks like a really royal purple to me, I'd choose: midnight blue, black plum, violet and burgundy spice. I reserve the right to change if they don't go together WHEN I WIN :-)

Renoir's Palette, Renassaince, Tide Pool and Ocean Current are my favorite. Very interesting pattern.
asteride on Rav

Julie B said...

I'd pick Tidepool as the inspiration color, then choose a dark blue (like ocean or true blue), silver fox, and violet (or black plum). Since my monitor is iffy with colors not sure which of those purplish colors would coordinate best... I do also love the Granny Smith & MacIntosh, but not sure which solids I'd use with that ;-)

ladygator said...

My color choices are:
Tide Pool
Plum Sky
Renoirs Pallette
Ocean

Thanks for offering this giveaway. Nifty pattern and yarn.
