As we've been discussing Spring and Summer knitting is all about small portable projects you can take with you. The delightful and talented Lisa Ellis of Lisa Ellis Designs has just created a versatile and beautiful pattern in my Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted that fits this bill perfectly, plus will give you a head start on your Fall and Holiday knitting, her new Hooded Scarves and Cowls pattern.

This pattern includes four different, but complimentary designs, 2 hooded scarves and 2 cowls. The hooded scarf designs are simple to knit either from top down or bottom up and the cowls are either knit in the round or flat. Pick your style and skill level, nothing is too complicated but all four are extremely satisfying knits. Pattern includes written instructions and charts.

The four designs are worked in the worsted weight yarns, Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted and Malabrigo Merino Worsted and 2-3 skeins of either of these yarns is all you need to work any of these designs. Sandrasingh.com 1 Ply Merino Worsted can easily be subbed for any project calling for Malabrigo's Merino Worsted.
