The Snood

When the famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil predicted 6 more weeks of winter he wasn't fooling around! The East coast was hit with record breaking blizzards while parts of the South got socked with record snow falls of their own. For fiber artists this was cause for celebration, cozy inside with plenty of time to knit. This cold weather gives you yet another reason to create and wear this season's hottest accessory, the Snood.
Our first take on the Snood is Anne Kuo Lukito's lovely and versatile Pfeiffer Falls Hooded Scarf, this cabled designed will keep you toasty warm wrapped around your shoulders as either a hood or scarf.

And Schaefer's new design, the Nancy One Skein Snood is a quick and easy knit that will take you warmly through even the coldest and snowiest day! One skein of Schaefer's merino wool blend yarn Nancy is all you need to create this casual layering piece and the flattering colorways Gertrude Ederle and Renata Tebaldi are in stock.
Remember, purchase any 5 Schaefer patterns and you'll receive a 6th pattern for Free! Write the name of the pattern you want in the Comments Box during checkout.

Either of these designs will be an enjoyable knit with warm results!
